what we OFFER
nursery AND PRE-SCHOOL
We welcome children from 19 months to 6 years old into a space focused on happiness (working through our four pillars). We offer an environment prepared for each child to make their own discoveries, develop autonomy, and life skills. Our space is organized so that every learner can choose what to engage with, having their time, interests, and rhythms respected, with plenty of outdoor activities and contact with nature.
We work with multi-age groups and a calendar of inspiring workshops, connected to the cycles of nature. Additionally, we promote a strong school-family partnership through workshops and events (such as hikes, picnics, and bonfires) where families and their children, along with Kuará, create memories and emotional bonds.

LECTURES AND TALK CIRCLES FOR CHILD PROTECTION

Our lectures and discussion groups take place both at Kuará and in external spaces, such as schools, CRAS CRAS (Acronym for Social Assistance Reference Center), universities, government agencies or partner institutions. These events serve families (on topics such as positive and respectful education) and professionals linked to childhood.
The objective is to provide up-to-date information on education and development science, raise awareness and guide adults regarding the protection/guarantee of the rights of children and adolescents, and inspire a transformation in policies and practices for the care and attention of children.

training, immersion, and experiences
in transformative education
Our training pathways are practical learning experiences where we share knowledge, practices, and innovative pedagogical materials that can be applied in daily interactions with children. We cover topics ranging from education of the future - foundations and practices of innovation, through developmental science applied to education, perinatal education, practices in child relationships, emotional education, and behaviors for the protection of childhood.
Our courses are aimed at educators who wish to reimagine education and align their professional practice with the current landscape and the real needs of learners and individuals they assist. We see educators not only as teachers, but also as families and governmental agents (such as social workers, psychologists, guardianship counselors, and other professionals involved with childhood).

ADVISORY SERVICES FOR SCHOOLS, LEARNING SPACES,
AND PROJECTS

Through sensitive listening, and dialogue, and we support educational spaces that aim to enhance their practices. Our consultancy begins with an assessment of the current situation and identification of areas where improvements can be made. We then share knowledge and innovative tools with managers and educators for transformation in four main areas: management, curriculum, methodology, and environment (physical space and relationships).
familY SUPPORT
More than helping with the challenges of raising a child or teenager amidst the excess of advice and information available, we realize that families need to be listened to and supported.
Therefore, we offer discussion and exchange circles, therapeutic workshops with writing and crafts, and guidance for families facing challenges in educating their children at home or at school.

AFTER-SCHOOL SHIFT

Our after-school program is full of possibilities: we combine free play, contact with nature, and experiential learning to expand knowledge, develop skills, and create individual and collective projects!
We welcome children from 3 to 10 years old to get in touch with manual work, artistic expression (music, theater, dance), science, challenges, games, carpentry, cooking, permaculture, and much more!). We use active methodologies, collaborative games, and emotional education paths, always focusing on meaningful learning and getting hands-on!
